  3. Hey! I'm Shelley. I have been teaching at Northwestern High School in Rock Hill, SC for 6 years. I love all the impressionism artists and it is my favorite movement to cover with my students. Teaching them about the history, use of light, and mark making techniques tends to be highly successful for them, so it becomes a favorite for them too!

  4. Hey there. My name is Alicia Cobler (just officially changed my name this week since i got married and its still a little odd saying that ). I teach at Nation Ford High School and just finished my 6th year there and 7th year teaching. I have a bunch of favorite artist, currently I really like Flora Bowley and Bjorn Richter but my favorites are all ways changing. I like Bowley's art because of its free nature and use of color and am a fane of Richters art because of the messages he puts into it.

I teach 2D, Advanced 2D, 3D, Advanced 3D, Art History, and I will be adding AP studio art to my schedule this year! It can be absolutely CRAZY teaching this many different classes but it always keeps things exciting! Honestly, my favorite artist changes weekly with whoever I am teaching about in my classes. 14. Hi! My name is Hayden Oliver and I am the sole art teacher at Wren High School, which is actually the highschool I attended. I was fortunate enough to take AP Art my junior and senior year, and really look forward to be able to teach it next year! I graduated from Anderson University in 2015, and just completed my 2nd year of teaching...which means I get mistaken for a student constantly! I teach many sections of Art Foundations, Honors Art, Drawing 1 & 2 and Painting 1 & 2. I'm a huge fan of Alphonse Mucha, Chuck Close, and Dale Chihuly. I'm drawn to their use of color, abstraction, and focus on portraiture (well, not Chihuly!). I also admire artists who favor loose, gestural brushwork and impasto, as I enjoy painting in that style personally.
